What Time will the Show start?

Winter Spectacular is set up into Performance Groups. Each group will start set up at the top of the hour and will officially take the stage on the quarter hour (12:15, 1:15, 2:15, 3:15, 4:15).

See the Performance Group breakdown HERE.

How Do I buy tickets?

Tickets will be available for purchase online or in the studio lobby start Monday November 25th. Tickets will be in the form of a hand stamp for entry. Tickets are general admission and will not sell out due to the nature of our performance breakdown.

Youth Tickets (2-17yr) - $5

Adult Tickets (18+) - $7

Participating Dancers DO NOT need to purchase a ticket.

What’s the Holiday Stop n Shop?

Each year, Captivation Dance welcomes small business owners to host a booth/table in the lobby of our performance. Dance families and community members are welcome to shop throughout the event.

What does my dancer need to wear?

Participating dancers will receive a Winter Spectacular Tshirt which they will wear on show day. Dancers are asked to wear plain BLACK leggings or pants with their shirt.

Tumble and Acro students may be asked to wear a black leotard under their shirt or to tuck their shirt in based on teacher recommendation.

Bring all necessary shoes (ballet, tap, jazz, or sneakers).

What About Hair and Makeup?

Tumble and Acro students should have their hair pulled into a low bun.

All other dancers should have their hair pulled into a high ponytail.

Makeup is optional for this performance and if dancers would like to wear makeup, they do not need full stage makeup. Consider doing a soft eye shadow, mascara, pink lip, and pink blush.

How do I drop off or pick up my dancer?

Dancers will be dropped off in the Morton High School cafeteria at the top of their performance hour. They will meet their teacher and class at a designated table. You are then free to find your seats for the show.

After their performance, dancers will be taken back to their cafeteria table and will await pick up. They must be signed in and out by an adult they know.

If your dancer is in multiple routines in the same performance group, they will stay in the cafeteria with their next class between routines and may be picked up at the end of their group time.
